Advice please.
Hi Folks,
I haven’t posted anything here on the Wittenberg trail for quite some time now.
I would really appreciate some advice.
I’m really impressed by Lutheran Theology, its Christ centeredness, the fact the cross is used as the lens through which we see God and the fact that Lutherans very often just take biblical texts on face value. I have also come to appreciate a more liturgical approach to worship.
The problem is there are no confessional Lutheran churches here in N. Ireland and despite being able to listen to sermons etc online it’s just not the same as being there in the church with my family. As a consequence my family and I are thinking about leaving our current church which is completely ‘Reformed’ and adheres strictly to the Westminster Confession of Faith and possibly attending the local Church of Ireland (Anglican). I know there are a great number of negatives associated with Anglican churches; however this local congregation would be a little more gospel focused than most.
So, what do you think should we go ahead and change churches or would this be a mistake? I would appreciate all comments as there are no Lutherans over here to discuss this with.

It just happens there is an article in the "Canadian Lutheran" magazine dealing with just this issue.
I don't know if it will answer your question but it might give you some more questions to ask of the local Anglican minister.
