Becoming a Trail Guide

We ask that if you are to act as a Trail Guide that you be an ordained, Lutheran pastor. Answers should be based upon Scripture, the Book of Concord, or the Lutheran Fathers such as Martin Luther or Martin Chemitz, etc.. Personal opinions should not be expressed. If you're not sure of the correct or proper response, please don't give an answer. If you have an issue with an answer given by another pastor, please be professional in addressing the issue, but not publicly on the site. If you give a wrong answer, please out of concern for the well-being of ones soul, admit the error and reinforce the correct answer.

This site is for the sake of promoting confessional Lutheranism, with that in mind, all answers are to be restricted to conform with confessional Lutheran doctrine. If you do not hold to this belief, then we ask that you please refrain from answering questions on this site. Willful abuse of this policy will result in you being removed from the site.

Always keep in mind that you are dealing with a person who is or maybe a member of another pastor's parish. Be mindful of proper boundries and encourage people, when appropriate to speak with their pastor or if they are not currently Lutheran, encourage them to seek out or suggest a local Lutheran pastor.
