To former RCs, how did you change from RC to Lutheranism (confessional)? How did you come to that conclusion?

Hello all, I'm raised and still am RC. I'm in college now and I've been noticing for some time that I have strong Lutheran leanings. I've done some research on Lutheranism and it just struck a cord immediately. I've come to question Catholic beliefs and some theology. What's also disappointing are the sex abuse scandals that the Church covered up for so many years! But that doesn't take my faith away at all.Anyway, I have really contemplated on changing. Hello everyone! I am a humble university student at the Univ. of Arizona studying Hydrology and German. Cool combo, no? I am raised in the Catholic faith and have always been a faithful Christian attending church every Sunday and receiving God's graces. However, I have been contemplating confessional Lutheranism and would love guidance. I've been having this strong Lutheran leaning for some time and I educate myself in both the Catholic and Lutheran faith to make an informed decision and be in the right flock.
