I cannot claim to be a successful keyboardist. I was a voice major in my college days. In my undergraduate days, I earned enough credits in 'bonehead piano' that I could count it as 'my second instrument.' Then the auditors kinda winked and gave me the required piano proficiency stamp. That was 1970.
With the advent of synthesizers, I have done somewhat better...but, no, I am not a keyboardist.
I did play trumpet in community symphony for several years and got to play in a service for Pr. Stefanski's (then LC-MS) congregation. I have done lyrics for a few hymns, even a chorus in Ukrainian!
I also served as music director for community musical theater for six years.
