It shure is Don. The one who knows the full story about the shoe, the airport, and a certain special woman. I hope things are going well for you and your family!

Don! Great to see you on here! Yes, I went to Sudan and had a brief time in Uganda too. I went over via invitation of Bp. Andrew Elisa to teach Pastoral Practice and Theology. It was an amazing trip and I learned to appreciate so much what we have here, but also that we will never have the faithfulness of those people over there. Keep in touch! Ciao!

Hey Don. How are things in Minnesota? You ever run into my friend Tim Winterstein?
Great to see you on here.
Blessings,
Jon

Don, I'd approve your friend request but I can't figure out how to do it.

Hi Don,
Tim is in Minnesota North. He is pastor in Fisher and Euclid. He was just ordained and installed last summer.
I didn't make it to Symposia this year, but hope to next year. I pray all is well with you. The Lord's blessings.

Hey Don,
Glad to see you're here! Tonight it seems "Minnesota cold," but that's only because I'm getting acclimated. I remember giving the Texans a hard time at seminary, whenever it got a little brisk.

Hi Don,
I grew up "out east," although in the Buffalo area we like to distinguish ourselves from "downstate." It's more like the midwest/great lakes/ rust belt. I grew up there, went to Concordia Bronxville and Concordia Ann Arbor before FtWayne.

No, it's the first. I have a dual parish. I stayed an extra year at sem for STM/grad assistant work and did a Summer vicarage, but that was in Montana. Nothing back east.

It is! I'll be speaking at the Bartlett Church in Nov - a Sunday evening - talking about the military chaplaincy, for their mission festival. Not sure of the exact date yet, but likely the second Sunday evening.
We live in Portales, NM, now with my having retired from the AF and having accepted a call to a nice little congregation here.

Very good.
Lee is my brother. We own hunting land side by side SW of Hewitt and hunt deer together every year. He has a son that is playing minor league for the Cincinnati Reds
You'll need to give me the time frame for the BB player of whom you spoke. Lee graduated from BHHS in '69. A few years later our cousin, Tim, Ed Piepkorn's son, was a prominant player at BHHS. His sister, Lynn, a few younger, was a great BB player as well.
