You have the clar's on, so more than just a convert....a pastor? I too walked another path...welcome to Wiz-CAWN-sin or something like that. I am at the edge of the place that the devil dwells, called the Viking place of perdition...Minnesota...but since I come from Massachusetts, the Pats be the man (men), Anyway, what if Bret goes west and takes new colors? I also have a connection to the great MN. Family from Sweden...

Welcome.

Hey Doug.

Writing workshop is going well so far, although the wireless situation in this "place" stinks.

Hey Doug,

Life is good. Though summertime in Texas is brutal! I am currently completing my year as a resident chaplain for the CPE program and hopefully returning to parish ministry or some other form of ministry God willing. Time will tell.

I hope everything is going well for you during your vicarage. I often considered my year in the Dells working with Pr. Schueler as one of the best years of my life. Nothing quite like it. I also miss the school teachers at Trinity.

God bless you as you complete your vicarage and return to seminary in preparation for the pastoral office. Contact me anytime you like if there be a need.

Hi Doug-- how are things. I'm on my vicarage now, and very close to Kings games, which is good. Unfortunately, it's the Kings, which is bad. How are the 'Sonics doing this year? Huh? Oh, yeah.. sorry... So, chant with me: Lay-kers! Lay-kers! Lay-kers!

never mind whar Freeman says.... The Mariners will ( eventually ) be just fine. besides, he's a Seahoax fan. What could he possibly know about quality sports.

So what, root for the Clippers? There are but two teams in the NBA, right? Things here are going OK; the congregation is small, but otherwise OK. My main problems revolve around health issues and the steady drone of high-bypass turbofans 24/7 (we're about 1/2 mile from the south runway at LAX)

It is good that you remain a Seahoax fan. I understand they are inviting John McLaren to replace Holmgren.

tsk, tsk.

:) Bob
