So I have recently been very intrigued in the study of the article of (what else) justification.  (Isn't that what Lutherans are here for? :)  But seriously, it led me obviously through Paul's…Continue

Tell us about yourself ( e.g. hobbies, education, projects you are working on, etc.). What brings you to the Wittenberg Trail?
I am a baseball player in Minnesota (beautiful state!), and I will be attending Concordia University, St. Paul next year to play baseball there. I am a strong confessional Lutheran, summed up by the phrase "I love the Augsburg Confession." (And the entire Book of Concord!) I am very interested in theology, and it is a career consideration for me at CSP. If I do pursue theological studies, I would like to hopefully study at Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, IN.

I have several Roman Catholic friends that I have been communicating with a lot on theological matters, so it is refreshing to be part of a community that shares my beliefs! Stay strong, Lutheran friends! It is a slippery slope. "Sola gratia, sola fide, sola Christus, sola Scriptura!"

"I think of any church body or denomination of any kind, true Lutherans use the most effort and concern in making the distinction between Law & Gospel. It opens up the key to understanding Scripture as a whole, and Lutherans have it best.…"

Hello Joe,

The Lord be with you. I sure am glad to see you here at the Wittenberg Trail. I know you will be richly rewarded.

Congratulations on your latest concert. I saw a picture of you with your friends (you were dressed in a tuxedo). WOW! You sure are a handsome young man! Your mother and father are so proud of you (me too).

Hi Joe.My background is Roman Catholic.I went to a  Dominican school for 8 years and 1year at a Jesuit High School.I came to the Evangelical Church through the Reformed tradition though.I am an avid reader and have been a reader of the Reformers.since the late 70's and early 80's.I would rank Martin Luther and Philip Melanchthon as well as C.F.W.Walther among my spiritual heroes as well as a host of others.Currently I serve as an eleder at my local congregation.I pray our friendship is mutually edifying. In Christ Keith
