Thank you for your kind words Loren and Gloria. I appreciate it. Where is Milbank? We lived in Huron for two years.

Yes, that is me, in the flesh, big as life, as twice as ugly. I remember your mother well. I remember one Sunday she forgot her trifocals and had fun reading her music with bifocals. We laughed about it after service. I believe I confirmed your youngest brother. Many fond memories of Bethelhem. Wish I could have spent more time at the anniversary.

My, you have a beautiful family. So you home school. Busy patient person you must be. I see you replied to a discussion on TCN. That's a scary topic!

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Having experienced a "hireling" in my previous congregation and then, guided by God's hand, finding a confessional congregation and a faithful pastor, I can only encourage you to keep looking. I tried working within my former congregation, but the rot among the laity was too deep. They weren't interested in a confessional and faithful pastor. My prayer for you is that you will find the church home you seek and that your souls will be nourished by the faithful preaching of God's Word!

I am so happy for you and your family. The great blessings of worship and membership in a confessional congregation, with a solidly orthodox pastor are beyond calculation. Almighty God bless you membership in your new church home!

Hi Guys,
My quote is quite silly, but man, I don't know what "they" don't get about evangelizing. I mean, isn't Christ's Words in Matthew 28:19 clear enough? Why is it "they" think they need a program or gimmick. Sorry to vent, but it is way past silly at this point: lol :)
