Spiritual Lint

In appreciation of and response to the Rev. Scott Murray's coining of the phrase, "Spiritual Lint" is a clarion call to all Lutherans to beware of the spiritual lint we tend to collect in pursuit of ecumenical fellowship.

One hit brought up this article:Conversational Terrorism: How NOT to Talk!http://www.vandruff.com/art_converse.htmlMy favorite, which I see here often along with many others in the article, is:NAME IT:To the feebleminded, if…See More

Hi Marcy. Cookie was about 2 months old when that picture was taken -- he is now 9 years old, and weighs in at 17 pounds (and he's not fat by any means). His father was Maine Coon, and he is a wonderful, gentle creature.

Grace and peace to you.

I wondered if that was the case. It was good meeting you and I look forward to seeing you from time to time on the trail, if not elsewhere!

The picture is of a Tesla Coil in action. Since I am an electrician by trade I thought that it might fit my profile.

Yes Milwaukee is good town. No, I do not know the Reigles (sorry if I butcher the spelling!) If I do run into them, I will tell them you said "Hi!" :) Like you, I also have a son-in-law serving vicarage in Wheaton, IL. I wish I could get my son back to church...period.

Hi Marcy, thank you for the birthday greeting! I was born and raised in Milwaukee...which I do miss. I have been here in El Paso for almost 9 years now. 4 more years and we will see where we go next.
Blessings to you!
