Matt, a.k.a. Doug, He's risen! He's risen indeed. I pray your Easter celebrations were joyful and full of God's Word and Sacrament. This year we had 5 services from Thursday through Sunday. We had our first ever Easter vigil. We had about 40 people join us in the snow, yes that's right in the snow! around a fire to begin the service. It lasted about an hour and forty minutes and consisted of candle light, psalms, select readings, remembrance of baptism, litany of prayer, a short homily and of course the sacrament. Anyway it was a blessing.

So, I see you've come out of the closet, vocationaly speaking? Have you been telling others you're headed to the seminary. I don't think my in laws are aware of anything yet. I hope you're working on your greek.

I'll be up your way later in April, apparently its a pretty big deal for Roger to be married to Laura 40 years. I don't know, some how I don't think the Israelites thought 40 years in the wilderness was something to commemorate, nevertheless, we'll be up on April 27th.

Peace brother,

Tony Sikora

Hello Matthew,

Good to see you. I won't be going to CTS anytime soon - maybe fall. We don't even have the house up for sale. You going in the summer?

Blessings to you.

I'd love to take Catherine for a ride. But alas! I only have a scale model Viper in my possession. Someday, maybe, but it will probably have to be a Mustang.

Good morning! He is risen indeed!! My wife and I were baptized lutheran but only became active after we moved to MI after my last
tour in the army. We were blessed with 4 healthy children and they have begun their own lives now. I will most likely be the "old guy" as I am getting closer and closer to the 50 year old mark. I am looking forward to meeting you and your family next spring at the latest. Jeff

We live in Three Rivers which is in the southwest corner. I'm the import, Renee grew up here and wanted to come home to help her
parents. I grew up in northern NY in a town called Forestport. These
wide open farmlands and I don't get along all that well. I like mtns, small streams, etc... But, such is life. At least I get to head north to
go flyfishing whenever I desire. Jeff

Doug, aka Matt, good to hear from you. Glad all is well with you at the Fort. Things are getting busy here. I'm preparing to leave for Macau China in two weeks - mission trip! So needless to say I've been tying up some loose ends and prepping for Christmas.

Right now its my plan to be there for Symposia, but we'll see how things work out.

Enjoy your holy days.
