Pr. Alex Klages replied to John Thomas's discussion Ranking the six divisions in the group Top Shelf! (Hockey Fans on the Trail)
"Probably pretty close to that; hoping that the Central and Northeast improve some, but that's a decent ranking."

Hey there.

I've already "sort of" started in that I am commuting there to preach Sundays. Installation is set for the 16th of March, but we hope to be there and "working" as Pastor Elect before that. It's all about getting moved, which means its all about finding a place to live. If all goes well, we will be putting a bid on a house this week.

Keep us in your prayers and thanks for the curiosity.

Hello Alex, this is Pastor James Judson (Bottineau, ND). This site was recommended to me by a friend... I joined to see what I thought about it before recommending it to others. What are your thoughts on it?

You are correct - Mark and Heidi Gallas are members at Redeemer and dear friends of ours. Is your great-grandmother a relation to our Pastor Emeritus Gerald Scholz? Thank you for the welcome btw (you are my first commenter!) I have been lurking at Kelly's Blog for a while, probably a year or so now, so I kinda feel like I "know" you two. She's a SMART girl and thoroughly confessional - I so respect that. Love reading her stuff.

Hi Alex.
How are things? Are you settling into the Lent routine yet?

Which congregation did you receive a call from?
Wow, what a time to have to deliberate such a hefty thing.

Ahhh. Didn't they just get a candidate a year or two ago?
Sorry, I didn't get your response before I emailed you. How long have you had the call (to this parish)?

Ciao for now

Hey Alex,

All I can say is "there is some 'splaining to do" in light of all this craziness. Hope Issues is back in some form!

Hi, Pastor. Are you related to Jerry Klages from Ontario? He served as one of our regional governors. Thanks for the question; however, I don't think I have an answer at this time.

I enjoyed spending some time with Jerry in Kelowna BC when we were there for an LLL convention. At that time, he was working on some engineering project for the 2000 Cadillac, so that's how long it's been.

A blessed Karsamstag to you, Alex. You've been in my prayers and in those of our my congregation as you consider your call to Redeemer. God bless your deliberation.
