Tonight I am sampling Schlafly's Irish Extra Stout. For those of you (especially you St. Louis guys of the past 10 years or so) who don't know about Schlafly, it's the second largest brewery in St. Louis. Starting in the shallow end.

This is my first venture into the world of blogging. I have been hesitant to wade into the blogosphere because, honestly, I don't really care for the opinions of others. It seemed to me that many blogs were simply attempts by those who could not get themselves published to dispense their own learned words.
