I'm all for Lutheranism. The rest is contrary.

And I am IN that picture of Kramer Chapel, just very small (so no, I don't claim to be a gigantic pipe organ nor a good organist...)

In place of a divine decree of rejection the universality of Christ's grace is accounted the only cause of salvation, which is always and everywhere efficacious and which brings a guilty responsibility on those who despise it.

Welcome, Fr. Sutton!
Thanks for the update on Nairobi. We added a petition, as you suggested.

You'll find a lot of old friends here, and I bet you meet some new ones.

Hello, Pastor Sutton.

I have some previous connections to the Plano/Garland/Richardson area, and have actually attended at Faith once years ago. I was just wondering, since I saw Len Stadler put up a page on WT, whether he's in your congregation.

I left a comment for Len on his wall, but I don't think he's checked, and may not be inclined to poke around and discover how much this site/network has to offer. If Len is in your congregation, would you say "hi" for me and let him know I left a message for him?

And for yourself, I wish you a blessed New Year and I'm glad you found this Lutheran network. Welcome aboard!

Jacob, good to see you online. I miss our "coffee hour conversations". Pray that all is well with you and your family. Life is good in California. Today's my day off so Susie and I are off for our Friday date. Lots to see and do.

Jacob, Good to hear from you and to be considered a friend! I met your great aunt (don't recall her name) at the visitation before my sister-in-law's funeral (Shelly Loppnow, Henry's daughter-in-law). God's Peace!

Wow, your church looks a lot like the seminary. And I think the Holy Spirit is descending on the organ.

Oh yeah, good to hear from you again! And hey, nice first assignment. I think that's the church we visited for a Christmas Eve service a few years ago when visiting Kristina's mother in Red Oak. Does it have a big school, or is that a different church in Plano?
