Greetings. I'm pastor of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (LCMS), Laramie, Wyoming, and have served here since 1996. Previously I was campus and assistant pastor at Our Savior Lutheran Church and Lutheran Student Center at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL (1990-1996).

The Confessional Evangelical Lutheran community lives in a time when we are compelled to be unified and to discuss theology as it is centered in the doctrine of justification in a civil yet lively manner. Yes, the gates of hell shall not prevail against Christ and His Bride, the Church, but the precious Gospel dare not be lost in pettiness and egoism.

Hey Shawn,

Good to see you on here. Now, we'll see about inquiring potential Lutherans.

BTW, the next Greeley study group is on the 29th of January. We're going to continue with How Christians Should Regard Moses by Luther.

Hi Pasor... thank you for the welcome. The Seminary is great. We are very excited to have the opportunity of vicarage this year. Coures have been fantastic, so much to learn and so little time. It seems like we just start to get into a topic and we have to move on.

Take care,

Jim

Yes, all of the Worship Word of the Week sheets have been scanned in. Now we're gently updating them with LSB in mind. We're also trying to scan in the CoW's copies of Lutheran Worship Notes!

Hey, I'm glad he meant that as a compliment. I've known StL grads who were thought be from FTW and it was not meant as a compliment. They're great pastors.

You axed me:
How's your winter been in MO?

I reply: "Colder and snowier overall than it's been for years. Not too much in the way of ice storms around here but a lot of rain froze in pastures and fields after it fell, so the later rains caused a lot of run-off flooding."
