Tell us about yourself ( e.g. hobbies, education, projects you are working on, etc.). What brings you to the Wittenberg Trail?
The inevitibility of being assimilated into this group was too strong for me.

I'm a 22 yr old graduate of Concordia Univeristy Wisconsin looking for a job in copywriting/editing or office administration so that I don't have to go to grad school right away.............History/Classical Languages degrees are so relevant I don't know what do with myself.

I love digging in the dirt for really really old stuff, all kinds of art, museums, history, as many languages as I can learn before I die, lots of music, and being incredibly cranky and conservative. For the most part I'm incredibly laid back, except for the incredibly cranky and conservative bit that tends to throw off my image.......oh well.

I'm an outdoors person to the core, but I'm beginning to think I'm allergic to heat and humidity (which is why I'm in Wisconsin right?) Archaeology, hiking, camping, biking, gardening, and blowing things up/lighting things on fire--top my interests list.

I hate spiders, relativism, stupidity, liberalism, modern art, the ACLU, global warming myths, hezbollah, antiquities authorities, museum boards, allergies, miller products, contemporary worship, fried vegitables, the concept of vegitarianism/veganism, and carraway seeds.

Have you ever heard God snickering?

Murphy's Law: it follows me around like a plague of gnats or giant storm cloud hanging over my head. I consider it sort of a personal curse. For the most I try to accept the resulting minor and major catastrophe's as "character building." On the other hand, if you know me well you also know that I will blame whatever I can on that blasted dead scientist for identifying the bane of my existance (it's not real mature but it takes the edge off).

If you'd really like to read some of the… Continue

My personality, as described by some idiot who can't even spell........

So.........as much out of morbid curiosity as anything else I took a personality test some time back. Surprisingly enough, the results were so often dead-on that I couldn't help to be amused--especially considering that the mystery genius hampster thing inside the computer analyzing my very own personal personality couldn't even spell. Of course if you were paying any attention to the run-on which just took place you'll understand why I'm on the run from the grammer police. I have to get back… Continue

101 Things to do in Purgatory

Today is just another ordinary day in purgatory. Many of you may think that purgatory is a location, and further a false location at that (barring the possiblity that you have visited said place in one of your many parallel universe holidays). But no! I have discovered the truth, purgatory is not a place--it is a time!!! Particularly that time between college graduation and the securing of one's profession.

The concepts are still the same as traditionally conspired. I did not exactly… Continue

Are you ready for a funny story? *Disclaimer

*Disclaimer: I am prone to telling stories that were only funny the moment they happened due to an unexplainable presence of laughing gas which randomly seeps into my oxygen stuff. To me this is of much more concern than the growing holes in the ozone layer but somehow I am no more capapable of communicating this to the proper authorities than I am at making you laugh with the following anecdote.

To begin-- after depressing myself with the previous disclaimer I now wish to redefine… Continue

Hello, Tabitha! Nice to have you with us on the Trail. Yes, assimilation is inevitable, and resistance is futile! :-D

Great picture Tabitha.
Have you called Rev. Kinnaman yet?
The tornado just missed Pittsburg tonight by about two miles. (missed it on the other side of town from us.) That's sirens twice this week. Want to ride to Walmart?

You need to change the color of print for links. The pink is real hard to read.
