Timios, put your picture online. The shadow doesn't do it. Mom says hi.

I wonder if that worked?

Hey Timios! You're always welcome to stop by here - no matter what the time of day (or night!). It'll be great to have you in the St. Louis area. I hear you may have found a place to live near the sem!

nice to hear from you - most of my biking is for fitness (or what passes for it, in my case) and on paved surfaces - but there is plenty of singletrack around. Look at http://stlbiking.com/Menu_Trails.htm and check out the Chubb.

Sorry, I guess I didn't answer did I. Depends what kind of ride and how far. For a quick short ride (in multiples of 6.2 miles) there's always Forest Park - no worries for traffic and just enough elevation change to get the heart pumping. All sorts of rides otherwise, even some convenient centuries that are interesting. Trailnet (http://trailnet.org/) and the local Hostel (http://www.moonlightramble.com/) group do organized and semi-organized rides (and, of course, the Moonlight Ramble). The Katy Trail is less than 20 very ridable miles away. http://bikekatytrail.org.
