PK? OK!

Pastors' kids have a unique perspective on all things Christian. Fellow PKs are invited to comment, complain, compare, or just sit on the sidelines and thank God that you didn't turn out like the rest of us.

Tell us about yourself ( e.g. hobbies, education, projects you are working on, etc.). What brings you to the Wittenberg Trail?

I desire to learn more about the Faith while having opportunity to also share what I've picked up in my 50+ years as a Lutheran pastor and PK. I graduated from St. John's College, Winfield, Kansas and started a SJC group here at WT to entice other Johnnies to drop in and chat. My MDiv is from St. Louis and my Magnum has a Hemi. I'm married with 2 children, 1 grandson, 2 dogs, and a cat. I serve Holy Cross Evangelical Lutheran Congregation of the UAC I write a newspaper column and blog, both titled Ask the Pastor and have written sermons, prayers, and Portals of Prayer devotions for Concordia Publishing House.

You're welcome, Eric. If you want to list it along with your larger badges, feel free. Encourage folks to copy it to their own servers or directories, but if they don't I have unlimited bandwidth (or so Yahoo says) and shouldn't have to worry about too many calls from my domain. And for those who didn't notice it on the left, here it is again:

Walt, It's good to see you on the trail, thought I was the only one from these parts. But I should have figured that wherever Lutherans gather on the 'net there you'd be.
