Oh, the church is so glad he's looking at his navel for us. I have some swell lint to share.

1. G. K. Chesterton, at the turn of the last century, in Othodoxy, regarding "introspection" as in this interview, to the effect, "The worse religion is the 'Inner Light' religion because that will mean eventually that Jones will worship Jones."

2. Note: this stuff is lawless/antinomian to the core. No "preaching of the law in its sterness that the Gospel be heard in all its sweetness"(Walther).

3. Sadly, I've heard all this stuff, bought into it and have by the truth of the Word, repented of it!

4. Oh, the church is so glad he's looking at his navel for us. I have some swell lint to share.

5. And then he said...oh enough. Gee,thanks, Jim! (smile)

And... doesn't listening to the nonsense of Scazzero make one so thankful for good law and gospel preaching we receive from our Lutheran pastors? I know I am thankful to God.

How did you know I was going to say (in so many words) that? I know because it is SO true!!!!

I'm still recovering from Ortberg and that was last Lent!
A new church home has helped. THEN I listened to this Scaz a reno and it gave be flashbacks. Thanks a bunch!

It does make me grateful though that the Lord gave me wisdom to know HIS Truth and enabled me to throw out the bad fruit! :)))

You sound a bit disorientated, Suzee. ;-)

Jerry LOOK! You have a leg up for a CEO position with your latest class credentials!
Talk about tailor made!

I feel like such a failure (exhausted) after listening to that! I feel like throwing a "corporate high heel" at this and his latest book http://books.google.com/books?printsec=frontcover&id=J6EPIwYg5v...

Does it surprise me the Number One fan with "praise" for this "CEO" comes from another Wall Dead End Street CEO? No, not at all. I actually was expecting John Ortberg. (See Back Cover).
BTW Ortberg's latest book is "The Me I Want to Be" http://biblegateway.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product?isbn=...
Squeakquel to "The Life You Always Wanted"

My favorite book is Isaiah, but not the one I heard here! The comment about the Psalms was also "disorienting"!
I'll keep the "bailout" forgiveness of my sins Jesus gave me on the cross.

I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you."
Isaiah 44:22

THANK YOU JESUS!
